Vertical Anemometer RM Young 27106-T

The vertical propeller anemometer is a precision sensor to measure the vertical component of the wind speed.

The sensor uses a high quality technology, that converts the propeller rotation to a DC voltage linearly proportional to air velocity. The propeller responds only to the component of the air flow that is parallel to the axis of its rotation. With a perpendicular air flow, the propeller does not rotate.

The instrument mounts to 3/4 inch standard pipe.

A rugged cable connector provides both electrical and mechanical connections.
