INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THE LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196 dated 30.06.2003 as subsequently emended
(Data Protection Handling and Privacy)
Following provisions of law, Art.10 D.L.196/2003, we inform you that personal data provided by the members of your organization or acquired otherwise in relation to our commercial relationship will be acquired, treated and stored in Sartelco® Sistemi S.r.l. database, including the use of other electronic means, directly and/or through third disclosing parties, according to the following:
1) Purpose of treatment
A) Performing activities directly or subsequently related to trading, for example order handling / administrative / accounting / statistical analysis or as further example billing, claims management, dispatching of informative or technical communications; performing and managing in general provisions of contracts either in suppling or purchasing of goods and services, and performing all the activities needed to fulfill obligations provided by law in civil, tax and accounting matters;
B) Sending / requesting technical / commercial information and / or related to laws and regulations such as:
- changes in laws / regulations related to the field of business;
- marketing of new products / performing of market researches / customers’ satisfaction analysis
- invitations/call to tenders, tradeshows, workshops, conferences, (partially) organized by Sartelco® Sistemi S.r.l.
- calendars and / or greetings messages on special occasions
2) Method of Treatment
Following provisions of D.L.196/2003 Art.31 and 33 (Minimum safety measures and obligations) and Art. 34 and 35 (Treatments with and without electronic means) data will be processed in a permissible, fair and confidential manner. Data will be recorded, organized and stored in electronic and / or paper archives and will be kept at our company or its subsidiaries or parent companies.
3) Disclosing parties
Sartelco officers, directors and employees or officers, directors and employees of its parent and subsidiary companies who have a need to know.
Data can be forwarder and released by Sartelco® Sistemi S.r.l. in those cases provided by law to the public authorities who so request and are legitimate to request so, and, limited to the cases referred into Section 1 A), to:
- credit institutions / banks;
- credit insurance and debt collection/factoring companies;
- auditing and certifying companies (balance / ISO quality);
- consulting, legal and advisory companies for performing obligations related to contracts or laws, e.g. chartered accountants
4) Rights (of data owner, pursuant to art. 7)
You have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of your data, even if not recorded yet, and to have them communicated in intelligible form.
You have the right to obtain information about a) the origin of personal data; b) the purposes and methods of treatment; c) the logic applied in data processing using electronic means; d) the identity of the holder of rights and the data manager if appointed pursuant Art. 5) paragraph 2; e) parties or categories of parties to whom the data may be disclosed
The owner is also entitled to: a) update or review or integrate data; b) anonymize, blocking or deleting data processed against law, including those collected and processed against the purpose for which they have been collected or subsequently processed; c) having a proof that operations in letters a) and b) have been notified, also regarding their respective content, to disclosing parties, unless such proof is impossible to get or requires an unreasonable or disproportionate effort against the protected right.
The owner has finally the right to stand against data processing, in whole or in part, a) for legitimate reasons even if such processing being within the purpose of the collection. b) when the purpose is carryng out market researches, sending of advertising material, direct selling or other commercial communications.
