Today’s internet users are frequently on the go. They expect to have Internet access on their mobile devices wherever they happen to be. Providing free Internet access has then become an essential task for retailers, hotels, and restaurants in particular.
Hotels can also need to generate tickets for each guest individually, with username and password, to get Internet access.
SOLUTION
The bintec HotSpot Solution will typically consist of a bintec router installed on-site serving as a hotspot gateway in combination with a bintec elmeg HotSpot Server that automatically manages the gateway’s Internet access. The administration terminal lets staff manage user accounts at the front desk of a hotel for instance. The terminal handles everything from registration and generating tickets to usage reports.
To setup the network wifi infrastructure you can also use Teldat's W1003n, W2003n and W2003n ext devices, and the WLAN Controller software (useful when there are some installed APs) that lets you manage all different APs of the system from a central location.
